Rate Increase

Effective January 1, 2025:

The rates for water and sewer increased by 17% ($18.59 per month for an average household using 5,000 gallons per month). The new rates will be reflected in the monthly water bills for January 2025, which are due on February 10, 2025.

Residential deposits increased to $200.00, plus a $20.00 service.

Commercial deposits will be determined by meter size ($200.00 to $2,500.00). Reconnection fees increased to $50.00. Any customers on the cutoff list for a 3rd time in any 12-month period will be required to prepay their water and sewer bill each month, for the next 12-month period. Prepayment for each month will be equal to the average usage of the last 6 months of water bills, rounded up to the nearest $10.00.
